Shall I Go To A & E or call INJURY-FIX?
Your injury may be serious when:

– You feel a tearing sensation at the time of injury and, following this, you are in considerable pain and unable to walk.
– There is a marked alteration in the muscle shape after the injury occurred.
– You are unable to support any weight through your injured leg when attempting to walk one hour after the injury occurred.
– Your pain gets worse over two days or you generally feel unwell.

If ONE or more of the above points apply to you, seek medical advice. In the meantime, refer to Day 1 for the application of RICE to limit further damage. If none of the above points apply to you, you are an ideal candidate for self-treatment.

Self treatment

If your injury happened 3 days ago or less, start the treatment programme at Day 1. If your injury happened more that 3 days ago, start the treatment programme at Day 4 to Day 8.
